Invitation

The doctoral fraternity of Indian Institute of Management Indore, takes immense pride and joy in inviting you to the 9th annual “Conference on Excellence in Research and Education (CERE)” to be held from 3rd - 6th May, 2016 at the premises of the institute at Indore. The four day conference will also include Paper/Poster Presentation, Doctoral Colloquium and Workshop by eminent scholars to encourage young researchers in the field of management. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum to showcase cutting edge research in the areas of Management. The conference provides an excellent avenue to get quality feedback on the research work and an opportunity for networking among researchers, academicians and industry executives working in Finance, Marketing, HR, strategy, operations, Information systems and allied areas. We invite high quality original papers from research scholars, faculty members and industry practitioners.

DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM
A Doctoral Colloquium shall be organized for all doctoral students who are either at early proposal stage or advanced stage of their thesis work. This event will bring together doctoral scholars from different disciples of management studies, providing an opportunity for interaction and networking with scholars and peers who share common interests. During the colloquium there will be paper presentations by participants from different institutes and presentations will be made on their thesis topic. Doctoral students willing to participate are required to submit an extended abstract of their research work via EasyChair.

TRAVEL SUPPORT*

Travel reimbursement will be provided to only one author of the accepted paper and the travelling fare will be subject to a maximum limit of Rs. 6000/- only.

ACCOMODATION SUPPORT

• All non-AC rooms will be provided free of cost. All AC rooms will be provided at a subsidized price of Rs. 800 per person per night, on twin sharing basis.
• Participants can avail of family accommodation by making an additional daily payment per person of Rs. 500 for non-AC rooms and Rs. 800 for AC rooms. Charges for meals need to be paid separately for family accommodation.
• Participants are requested to book in advance for accommodation on campus. Allotment of AC rooms will be subject to advance booking and availability. Link for accommodation and registration will be updated shortly.

Submission Guidelines

1. Please submit an extended abstract of the paper in not more than 2000 words (excluding tables, figures and references).

2. Your extended abstract should cover the following abstracts: (a) the study hypothesis (if applicable), (b) brief literature review, (c) methodology adopted, (d) empirical or theoretical results and (e) implications for theory and practice. Incomplete submissions will not be sent out for review.

3. Formatting of extended abstract
 The entire extended abstract submission (title page in the Title case, abstract, main text, figures, graphs, tables, references etc. must be in ONE document using one of the following formats: Portable document format (.pdf), Microsoft word (.doc/docx).

 Figures, graphs, tables, appendices, and references, should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style guide.

 Use Times New Roman 12-point font, double spaced .1-inch (2.5 cm)margin all around, and 8.5”*11” page setting. References may be single spaced.

 To facilitate the blind review process, remove ALL author-identifying information,including acknowledgments, from the uploaded document. Self-references that give away the authors’ identity should also be avoided. If self-referencing is essential it should be in third person.

Note: Extended abstract that do not follow the above instructions will NOT be reviewed.
