The Brazilian Conference on Fuzzy Systems (CBSF) is the major South American event dedicated solely to fuzzy systems and their applications in areas such as mathematics, physics, engineering, economics, health and social sciences.
CBSF aims at bringing together researchers, engineers, practitioners and students to present their latest achievements, innovations and applications. It also aims at fostering national and international cooperation between research groups.
CBSF has been held every two years since 2010. Its sixth edition will take place at the São Paulo State University (Unesp) at São José do Rio Preto, November 04 – 06, 2020.

Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers: Full papers with a maximum of 12 (twelve) pages including abstract, keywords, figures, tables, and references.
- Extended abstracts: Short report with a maximum of 2 (two) pages including abstract, keywords, figures, tables, and references.
The classification of the paper will be informed by the author during submission. Based on comments from reviewers, the scientific committee may eventually change the classification of a paper. In this case, the authors will be notified of the change.

Venue
The VI Brazilian Conference on Fuzzy Systems will take place at the Institute of Biosciences, Humanities and Exact Sciences (IBILCE) of the São Paulo State University (Unesp) at São José do Rio Preto - SP.
São José do Rio Preto is one of the most important municipalities in the interior of the state of São Paulo and the eleventh largest city in the state, with a population of about 460 thousand inhabitants. The city is about 440 km from the capital and is one of the main industrial, cultural and service centers in the interior of São Paulo.
The Prof. Eribelto Manoel Reino Airport (SJP) is one of the most important airports in the interior of São Paulo. It receives commercial flights mainly from São Paulo and Campinas.
