Submission Guidelines

Types of Abstracts

1. Original research papers

Original research papers are scientific reports of the results of original research study or an audit. The abstract should be structured into the following format.

• Introduction and Objective(s)
• Methodology
• Results
• Conclusion

1. Case Reports

These are short discussion of a clinical case with unique features not previously described that make an important scientific observation. The abstract should be structured into the following format.

• Introduction
• Case report
• Conclusion

The abstracts should not exceed 300 words.

Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12

Tables, Figures, diagrams and images will not be accepted.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the abstract review committee for acceptance and if needed abstract would be sent to authors for revision.

The abstract review committee will retain the right of accepting an abstract and the decision of the abstract review committee will be the final decision.

All abstracts are subjected to approval of the research review committee of National Blood Centre before publication.

All changes recommended by abstract review committee should be made before the abstract is accepted for publication.

6-8 abstracts will be selected for oral presentations and all other selected abstracts will be presented in the form of poster presentations.

Main author or other author of each abstract should present for the oral and poster presentations. Certificates will not be issued to not presented abstracts.

All selected abstracts will be published in the abstract book of the Annual Academic Sessions 2023.
