The role of women in information security continues to grow while they continue to juggle staying active in their community and often raise families. At the Center for Cyber Safety and Education we help empower women to succeed at all aspects of their career and personal lives. We offer college scholarships specifically for women, as well as graduates, undergraduates, and veterans along with cyber safety educational programs for their families, children schools and the community as a whole. Todays WiCyS are the role models for the next generation.

The Center for Cyber Safety and Education in partnership with Jim Davis and his creative team at PAWS, Inc. is now teaching children how to be safe online with Garfield! Garfield is known worldwide with over 200 million readers a day in 42 different languages. Come along as Garfield and Friends work their way through various situations on the internet. The Center has developed an exclusive program with cartoonist Jim Davis and everyone’s favorite cat Garfield, to teach children how to be safe on the internet, Garfield’s Cyber Safety Adventures.

Patrick Craven has over 30 years of experience working within the non-profit industry and has held various C-Level executive leadership roles across the country at notable charitable organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and the Boy Scouts of America. As Director for the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, he is responsible for all business operations, supporting the Board of Trustees, service delivery, providing leadership to employees and volunteers, managing multiple income streams, overseeing marketing and business development functions, new program development and liaising with external agencies. He has a BS in Communication from Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH).
