Workshop on Empirical Experiences and Software Reuse (WEESR 2018)
The WEESR workshop aims to bring together researchers and experts, to present significantly experience and challenges on the area of software reuse, particularly domain engineering applied to both, software and software process, in order to achieve an effective research methods and knowledge among researchers and practitioners.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Domain analysis and modeling
- Reuse Scoping
- Domain Specific Languages
- Economic models and ROI Metrics for reuse
- Domain engineering for software product lines and software process lines
- Software architecture reuse (software architecture patterns)
- Reverse engineering for architecture and other potential reusable assets
- Software variability models
- Generative Reuse and Model Driven Development
- Adoption of Software reuse approaches
- Collaboration in software reuse
- Process reuse and adaptation
- Process for software reuse
- Empirical studies on domain engineering
- Educational experiences on domain engineering

- Paper Submission: 24th August 2018
- Paper Notification: 10th September 2018
- Camera Ready Submission: 24th September 2018
- Workshop Date: 1st November 2018
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
- Submissions must adhere to the IEEE Conference Proceedings Format Guidelines. Papers should comprise four to six (4 to 6) pages in standard IEEE two-column format, including figures, tables and references.
- All the papers must be electronically submitted by Easychair.
- All submissions will be reviewed by three (3) experts.
- Workshop papers will be published by IEEE and will be accessible through IEEE Xplore
