Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics and Ural Federal University are jointly organizing the 3rd Ural Workshop on Parallel, Distributed, and Cloud Computing for Young Scientists (Ural-PDC 2017). The aim of the workshop is to build the community of young researchers who work on modern problems in parallel, distributed, cloud computing and to provide an academic forum that fosters them to share their ideas and results.
Call for Papers
We invite submission of papers that present original previously unpublished research in all areas of parallel, distributed, and cloud computing. These papers will be presented during the workshop as oral presentations. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- High-Performance Computing
- Distributed Computing
- Cloud Computing
- Big Data Processing
- Parallel Computing Education
- Applications of Parallel and Distributed Computing
Important Dates
- Paper submission deadline: September 1, 2017.
- Notification of acceptance: October 1, 2017.
- Camera-ready version deadline: October 15, 2017.
- Workshop date: October 19, 2017.
Proceedings
We plan to publish accepted papers in CEUR Workshop Proceedings, which is indexed by Scopus. Proceedings of the previous Ural-PDC workshops are available at http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-1513/ and http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-1729/.
Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit papers in the PDF format written in LaTeX using the Springer LNCS style (LaTeX template download). The paper must be 5–10 pages including figures, tables, and references. We do not accept submissions in Microsoft Word. The authors should submit papers using the EasyChair conference system.
Each paper will be reviewed by at least three program committee members. We follow the post-proceedings publication model. Therefore, we will publish only those papers that are presented at the workshop. Final versions of accepted papers should include LaTeX sources.

Official and working language of Ural-PDC 2017 workshop is English.
Workshop participation and paper publication are free of charge.
