The 19th Annual Graduate Research Symposium will take place on Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Popp-Martin Student Union. This is an interdisciplinary graduate student-run conference that will allow graduate and professional students to showcase their research. We encourage all graduate students who are conducting or have concluded research to present at the Symposium. Presenting affords students the opportunity to share findings, gain experience in presenting scholarly research, and represent our various graduate programs. An additional incentive is the option to compete for a monetary prize.
We are excited to extend an invitation to the students of other UNC System schools with hopes of highlighting the important work of all graduate students statewide and enjoy a one-day opportunity to network and honor our achievements. Visiting scholars will have a $40 registration fee to include a program, parking, and food (i.e. a continental breakfast, lunch, and the Awards Reception). Registration will only be assessed in the event your proposal is accepted for presentation.
Submission Guidelines
All abstract proposals must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another conference. All authors must be indicated; however, all do not have to present. It is the responsibility of the presenter to obtain permission of all authors prior to proposal submission.
The following proposals describing research project, findings, implications, and conclusions are welcome:
