On April 13th (Friday), the CS Department will hold a Research Day.
This event will provide an opportunity for students to present their
research, whether complete or work-in-progress. The event will include
a keynote speech, a poster sessionand competition. Dinner will be served.
Research Day Event is scheduled to coincide with the visits of our
External Advisory Board.
How students can participate:
- Prepare and submit an interesting, informative, nicely designed,
and grammatically correct poster.
- Prepare and practice a brief "poster talk".
- Attend the event, circulate around to see what your fellow
students are doing, interact with visitors, and make a good impression.
Eligibility:
- Graduate and CURO undergraduate students enrolled in Computer Science
department eligible to submit.
Best Poster Awards:
- Faculty and student representatives will vote for the best posters and
prizes will be awarded. The prizes will be announced very soon.
IMPORTANT DATES, MATERIALS and SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
March 30 (11:59 pm): Poster and abstract submissions due.
To submit:
1. Name your poster file: Poster_YourSurname.ppt (insert your surname,
only ppt format is accepted)
2. Create a plain text abstract containing:
- Your name
- Title of your poster
- 150 word abstract
3. Multi-author posters are welcomed.
Be sure to use an appropriate font-size, layout, and color scheme.
