Scope

The digital transformation has changed our professional and personal lives in all areas, from music with the emergence of Napster or Spotify, to the shopping experience with Amazon, with the emergence of platforms such as Uber, Trivago, Netflix, Airbn Ebay, Alibaba , among other; the use of smartphones has been transforming the industry and the individual at great speed, and it has become clear how fragile business models can be and how technology can transform them; in this regard, it is not surprising that John Chambers, former CEO of Cisco, predicted that "at least 40% of all companies will die in the next 10 years if they do not discover how to change their entire company to adapt to the new technological and digital paradigms. " And although this thinking is commonly used in the business world, sectors such as universities and governments are also affected by this change.

This event of global magnitude, both at the organizational and technological levels, generates an expectation and need for "knowledge" both in its theoretical / academic perspective and in the practical implementation in business organizations.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically using the online conference management system in PDF format before the deadline (see Important Dates).

The submission processes will be managed by easychair.org. If you have used this system before, you can use the same username and password. If this is your first time using EasyChair, you will need to register for an account by clicking "I have no EasyChair account" button. Upon completion of registration, you will get a notification email from the system and you are ready for submitting your paper. You can upload and re-upload the paper to the system by the submission due date.

In this second edition of the Digital Transformation Congress,  the search and exploration of this phenomenon is continued, addressing, from the individual and organizational focus of the participating specialists, elements that try to understand them from the study of the following topics:

• Digital as an emerging paradigm.

• Impact of technologies such as IoT, Blockchain, Big data and Machine Learning on the business context.

• Digital transformation in the public and banking spheres.

• The emergence of new business models, based on the dynamic management of knowledge through technological tools.

• The role of entrepreneurship in the digital transformation

• Competencies such as creativity and innovative potential as indispensable factors of digital transformation.

• The necessary evolution and adaptation of the systems and institutions of higher education, in order to generate in a timely manner, the theoretical and pragmatic knowledge that will facilitate the understanding of this phenomenon.
