The theme for this conference is: Building on knowledge and possibilities: Spirituality, Science & Society As Intersections.
Most of the world’s societies are currently challenged by circumstances that were unforeseen and unimaginable decades ago. Depending on the society, disagreements are occurring over such subjects as spirituality, the role and/or value of science in shaping our world, who is responsible and/or who is benefiting from the world’s numerous problems. Against this background, Integrative Ruminations seeks to bring together people from diverse walks of life to dialog on the current state of our world with a view to developing understanding and increased awareness of specific issues facing communities and countries around the world, and presenting potential solutions to identified issues. This interdisciplinary conference will provide participants an opportunity and platform to explore the relationship between, and the impact and intersections of spirituality, science and society as societies continue to evolve in varying directions.
