Sustainability is increasingly important in today’s business world and is contributing to the current and future success of organizations. Integrating ecological, social, and economic objectives into business decisions is a key success factor for paving our way towards healthier organizations. It is vital to realize that sustainability is not achieved by any single action, but rather a long-term strategic process. That is, its integration into all aspects of organizational decision-making can be a key success factor for any business. This conference will discuss the emerging issues of transformational strategies for sustainability. There is an urgent need to innovate for the transition to more sustainable futures. The diversity of speakers and experts chosen from best of collaborations across the business, academia, NGOs, government and civic society is sure to generate great ideas and initiate discussions that will open up further avenues for practice and research. The solutions to the sustainability problems that we face need to integrate with people, profit and planet.
Submission Guidelines
Extended Abstract
The manuscript should be within 2000-3000 words or a maximum of 4-5 pages including appendix and excluding title page and references. Times New Roman, 12 pt, single space and justified in MS word with left and right margin of 2.5 cm on all pages. The manuscript should be easily readable, suitably sectionalized (Introduction, Literature, Methodology, possible outcomes etc.) and is free of grammatical errors.
The manuscript should also present correct scientific facts and be free from plagiarism. To prepare a good manuscript the authors must give attention to the objectives of the work presented, contributions made, the methodology used, conclusions and managerial insights drawn.
The title page should include the title in Upper and Lower case letters, name of the author(s), affiliation and email address.
The manuscript must be submitted in this format for its inclusion in the electronic proceedings and such manuscripts only would be considered for the best paper award, if any. For publication in the proceedings the corresponding author (thereby representing all other co-authors also) must also sign the copyright transfer agreement permitting the conference committee to publish it in the conference proceedings. However, such transfer does not infringe on the right of the authors to publish an extended/modified version of the manuscript in other publication outlets like journals or magazines. The manuscript will be included in the proceedings only if the presenting author registers for the conference. Select extended abstract authors will be invited to submit a full-length manuscript for consideration for publication in scopus or UGC approved journals.
References
The authors must include a list of references cited in the manuscript. The reference list should be arranged in alphabetical order and if there are multiple papers by the same authors then arrange them further in order of their year of publication. APA style should be followed for the referencing purpose. The list should include only published documents and is available in the public domain. The citations should be made by author name followed by the year of publication. In case the number of authors is more than two the first author's surname should be suffixed with et al. If there are multiple publications by the same author(s) in the same year then the year of publication should be suffixed with English alphabets (in the same sequence).
