Thai student academic conference (TSAC)
TSAC has been held yearly since 2012 in different European countries. The main goal is to establish a platform for Thai students who are studying in Europe to exchange and discuss their research and knowledge. Moreover, this conference also aims to build a strong and long-lasting academic network among young scholars who are committed to sustainable development in the future. TSAC 2020 will be organized in Bonn, Germany between 7-9 May 2020.

- Abstract in Thai (บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย) - Only for Thai students
The authors must prepare the extended abstract using the guideline below.
Main title: How to prepare for submission to TSAC 2020
Second title: The guideline and the template for the extended abstract.
Authors (only first names, family names):
Red Yellow (RY)*, Blue Pink (BP), and White Black 2 (WB)*
* corresponding authors (RY: red.yellow@greatest.edu, WB: white.black@goodlife.ac.co)
About the authors:
Here is an example - Ms. Yellow is a doctoral student in Prof Black laboratory at the Institute of Greatest Education, MyCity, MyCountry. This work was done in collaboration with Prof Pink from the Department of Happy Life, University of Good Life, MyCity, MyCountry. Ms. Yellow and Prof Black are the major contributors to this work for the initial idea, project design, and laboratory experiments. All experimental studies have been conducted at Prof Pink's laboratory.
Acknowledgments:
Here is an example - RY and WB acknowledge the support from the national funding agency of MyCountry (Grant number: 12345). WB acknowledges the funding support from ZZZZ research fund (Grant number: 67890) and the excellent support from the University of Good Life for the laboratory facilities.
Keywords:
Maximum 5 keywords – for example, TSAC2020, Thai student conference, digital transformation, student network, extended abstract
Highlight text:
The highlight section should be the core summary of the work. The highlight must be self-explainable; no reference or sentence is referring to other sections. The writing style should be in the announcement style, and authors should not overclaim their results. The highlight should be short and briefly explain to catch readers’ interest and attention. This section must contain less than 450 characters, including spaces.
Abstract:
Background - This section should explain the general background and motivation of the work. Authors can refer to other literature and make references using the 16th edition of Chicago reference style. For example, "there is a risk for breast cancer patients to have second cancer, lung cancer, after treatment (Lorigan, et al. 2010)”. Authors can refer to a website as “NASA has published the pictures from Curiosity robot on Mars (Greicius n.d.)”. For the font style, the text must be written using Calibri, size 11. The file must be in the Microsoft Word format (.docx). However, if the authors do not have Microsoft Word, please consider using Google Doc and download as Microsoft Word (.docx). The other formats of files are not accepted. The authors should consider using reference management software such as MS Word, Endnote, or Zotero (free) to manage citations and references. Importantly, authors must not directly “copy and paste” text from other publications.
Method - This section should explain how authors have done the work. The authors should explain, for example, the source of data, the sample's size, or a number of replications. The methods, software, and versions of software used to carry out the work should be explained explicitly. The authors should also explain experimental settings used for the work, such as laboratory conditions and computing computers. If the authors have developed software or scripts, authors should mention to a repository or a website as “The XYZ python package is available at http://www.mymethod.com”. In case you have a short video to demonstrate your work, for example, music therapy, virtual reality, energy-efficient modern house design, or interview from target groups. The authors are encouraged to provide the link in the extended abstract as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXX. We suggest posting a video on YouTube on your own public channel or your own website. The content of your video needs to be unique, and it is subjected to be under your license. TSAC has no policy to claim the right over your video content.
Result – The authors should explain the results that have been discovered by the work. This part should include experimental results and the interpretations of surveys/polls. The authors are encouraged to include one figure or one table. Precisely, the figure can contain an overview of the protocol, the method and/or the results. The authors can include multiple figures, but they need to be arranged as one figure and labeled by the letter A, B, C, …, Z. For the table, it needs to be created using MS Word, which allows the editorial team to reformat later. The figure and table must be aligned in landscape and must not be larger than half of the A4 page. For the figure, the authors should provide a high-quality image.
Discussion and conclusion - This section should provide a summary of the findings of the work. The authors should discuss, for example, the possible factors that affect the results such as “We got the positive result from our survey because we have interviewed mainly the teenagers between 15 – 18 years old.”. In conclusion, the total length of the extended abstract must be at least 1 A4-page. It must not exceed 2 A4-pages, including one figure and references.

The references must be in the 16th edition of Chicago style. See the examples below:

Figure and table
The extended abstract must contain one figure or one table. The description of the figure or table should be self-explainable and allows readers to understand directly without reading the main text. The description must contain less than 350 characters, including spaces. For figure, authors must provide the figure in landscape format with high resolution in JPG, PNG, or PDF formats. The high-resolution file must be submitted via an email by simply replying to the confirmation email from TSAC2020 after you submit the extended abstract to Easy Chair.
