Oklahoma State University will host the 6th Annual Spring Forum in TESOL, Linguistics, and Applied Linguistics, to be held virtually on April 17th, 2021. The conference theme this year is Language Learning and Teaching: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access. This conference is designed to give TESOL, Linguistics, and Applied Linguistics researchers, teachers, and graduate students a chance to present their original research and classroom ideas. We welcome submissions related to theory, pedagogy, and practice within the field of TESOL, Linguistics, and Applied Linguistics.
Submission Guidelines
Proposals should be written following the evaluation criteria presented in the provided rubric. Each proposal is blindly evaluated by peer reviewers.
Parts of a Proposal:

Title (maximum 15 words)

Abstract (maximum 300 words) - the abstract will appear in the Forum Program Book
Note: Proposals should be anonymized: the names and affiliations of the presenter should not appear in the document.
Group submissions are welcome for all presentation categories. Please submit one proposal per group presentation. Each presentation will be scheduled in a 30-minute time slot, divided into 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions and discussion.

Research-Oriented Presentation: This category is intended for oral presentations describing or discussing empirical or theoretical research at any stage. Abstracts should include the central idea and supporting evidence.

Practice-Oriented Presentation: This category is intended for instructors seeking to share teaching tips and strategies developed through both personal teaching experience in ELT classrooms as well as theory-driven teaching practice. The abstract should include a brief explanation of the teaching tip, as well as relevant classroom activities and applications, or reference to relevant teaching strategies and their implementation.
Proposal submissions will open on December 15, 2020 and close at 11:30 pm (CST) on February 15, 2021.
Notification of acceptance results will be sent by March 15, 2021.
