ShefLing PGC 2018 (Sheffield Postgraduate Conference in Linguistics) is designed to give linguistics postgraduates from all research areas an opportunity to present and discuss their research in a friendly and intellectually setting at the University of Sheffield.
Submission Guidelines
- We invite all postgraduate students and early career researchers to submit abstracts for oral presentations. Submissions are welcome from all areas of linguistics and language research, e.g. corpus linguistics, diachronic linguistics, first and second language acquisition, language policy, language teaching, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics.
- Submit your abstracts for a paper presentation in 250-300 words (excluding references), by 29th January.
Organizing committee
The conference is organised by postgraduate students at the University of Sheffield.
Venue
The conference will take place at The University of Sheffield on 25th April 2018.
