Dear STEM Guitar Community,
We are now accepting presentation proposals for the 2017 STEM Guitar Summit, hosted at M-STEM 2017 Conference in Hampton, Virginia, November 4th – 7th. Selected presenters will receive:
- Complimentary M-STEM conference registration ($129 value)
- A 15 minute time slot to present at STEM Guitar Summit 2017
Additionally, selected K-12 presenters will receive an $800 stipend (that can be applied to travel).

After creating an EasyChair account, you will be able to submit a presentation proposal along with author information, your presentation abstract, keywords, and selected topic(s). The abstract should be 75 to 100 words in length, and provide an overview of the presentation. Please note: only the abstract is required for submission, however you may submit slides or other supporting materials you wish to be considered with your proposal via the "upload" functionality.

- Best Practices: Building
- Guitar Design/CAD
- Solutions to Implementation Barriers
- Imaginative Funding Techniques
- Student Outcomes of Implementation
- STEM Curriculum Alignment/Development
Presentation Details:
- Awardees will be given 15 minutes to present, followed by a group Q&A session
Selection Process:
Presentation proposals will be rated by the STEM Guitar grant team. The authors of the 25 highest-rated presentation proposals will be awarded free M-STEM conference registration (plus an $800 stipend for K-12 faculty).

- August 2nd: Call for Presentations
- September 1st: Deadline for Presentation Proposals
- September 15th: Awardee Notification
- November 4th-7th: M-STEM and STEM Guitar Summit 2017
