The SRC welcomes diversity and has a multidisciplinary perspective: everybody who wants to (and qualifies for the SRC) can submit their paper, regardless of the field of study. All submitted papers are reviewed by a Review Committee of professors, teachers and lecturers of different Dutch and Flemish universities (of applied sciences). They pay attention to the paper's quality of research, its relevance to society and originality. On the basis of the RC's judgement, approx. 60 students will be invited to present their research through a workshop or a poster presentation at the day of the conference. In addition to that, these students will receive their (first) publication in the SRC's open acess e-journal, SURE! In short, submitting your paper may lead to a peer-reviewed paper by professors and teachers to be published in an open access e-journal, which is publicly available for a large audience. All these factors make participation an unique experience.

Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
1. Writing
- Although the spoken language of the SRC is in English, you can submit your paper in both English (British or American style) or Dutch. It is up to you to decide which language to use for your paper. If your paper is selected for a presentation, the language of your presentation does not have to correspond with the language of your paper. If this is the case, please inform us by email or phone.
- It is important to write for the SRC audience: academically educated, but from a wide range of disciplines.
- The paper must include an abstract of maximum 100 words.
2. Format
- Download the sample format here. This format is a Microsoft Word document.
- Make sure the declaration for permission to publish you bachelor thesis in our scientific e-journal is included in your paper! It's the only English text in the format.
- Fill in the information concerning the authors completely and correctly. Make sure the title is correct. The title named on the format will be used for the conference proceedings and programme.
- The paper should be at least three and at most four pages in length, including references, titles and pictures.
- The settings in the template (margins, columns, font, size, etc.) should not be altered. Headers, sections, subsections, figures and tables should be similar to the template as well. You are not allowed to include page numbers.
- Pictures or figures should be saved in black and white (and thus be clear as such).
3. Submission
- Please save your file as a .PDF, ‘A-4’ file
- Please save your file following this example: lastname-firstname-version1 (thus: jansen-jan-version1).
- If your paper is accepted and you plan on submitting an improved version, please save your paper following this example: lastname-firstname-defversion (thus: jansen-jan-defversion)
- If you re-upload your second version, your first version will be automatically erased by EasyChair.
