The first edition of the International Workshop, Social Network Analysis for Prevention of Crimes (SNAP-C) will be held in conjunction with the 13th annual Advances in Social Network Analysis and Mining (ASONAM ) conference on 8th November 2021. This workshop is intended to be a forum where researchers can meet and discuss the latest in social network analytics topics as they apply to the prevention of crimes.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Regular Papers should not exceed eight pages double column including figures, tables, and referencesin standard IEEE Conference format.

Maximum four pages are allowed for short papers.

The aim of this workshop is to facilitate multidisciplinary discussions of application to social networking, involving innovative ideas, applications, and experimental results. We welcome contributions from researchers working on the following topics of interest, including, but not limited to:

- Fake Profile Detection in social network
- Rumours in social networks
- Credibility analysis of social media content

- Network evolution and growth mechanisms

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the ASONAM 2021 Conference Proceedings and forwarded for inclusion in IEEE Computer Society Digital Library (CSDL), IEEE Xplore and the ACM Digital Library. The conference proceedings will be submitted for EI indexing through INSPEC by IEEE.
