Description
This edition of the bi-annual conference, organized by the Department of the Slovak National Corpus, Ľ. Štúr Institute of Linguistics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, is a peer-reviewed conference providing a meeting point for people working in the field of natural language processing, corpus linguistics and, in particular, interdisciplinary research based on corpora.

Presentations and full paper submission
Working languages: English and all Slavic languages
Language of the paper: English only
Accepted papers will be published in the special issue of Slovak scholarly journal Jazykovedný časopis indexed in the databases such as Elsevier – SCOPUS, De Gruyter – IBZ etc.
The authors are kindly asked to upload their anonymous papers in PDF format via https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=slovko2021 by March 22, 2021. Full papers will be reviewed by the programme committee by May 1, 2021.
Deadline for camera-ready papers (in ODT format): August 1, 2021. Papers cannot be changed after the deadline.
Formal requirements
Papers will be accepted only in the OpenDocument Text (.odt) format. Full papers SHOULD NOT exceed 13 normalized pages (23 400 characters: spaces and references included). Font type: FreeSerif. Page numbering: None. Proceedings will be printed in black and white/gray scale; no color.
Special issue of Jazykovedný časopis will be given to authors at the of conference.

Conference fee
The conference fee is 130 €. The fee for students, including PhD students, is 100 €. This will cover the costs of one copy of the special issue of Jazykovedný časopis, coffee breaks, social event and other organizing costs. If the epidemic situation in 2021 requires making the conference on-line, the conference fees will be modified. Please note that ACCOMMODATION and LUNCHES ARE NOT included in the registration fee.
The conference fee shall be paid by August 31, 2021. After this date the fee is 50 % higher. Payment details will be sent to participants in April 2021.
