Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- The objective of the workshop is to give the opportunity to researchers and industrialists to learn about the new secure deployment challenges in IoT and to discuss innovative ideas on the recent and future advances in this field. IoT and security specialists from academia and enterprises are invited to meet and exchange experiences around IoT deployment in different fields (healthcare, smart cities, energy, smart agriculture, etc.) .
- Main Topics
IoT becomes extensively used in many fields (e-health, surveillance systems, energy management, smart cities, smart agriculture, etc.). Consequently, IoT systems result in exchanging an important amount of private and confidential data.
Security is an imminent need that has to be addressed at deployment and execution time. Nevertheless, with the heterogeneous components of IoT systems, scalability and distribution, ensuring secure deployment is still a big issue.
Contributions are devoted to secure deployment in Io systems. Specifically, the relevant topics include, but are not limited to:
- Hybrid deployment fog/cloud
- Compromise between security and latency in IoT
- Model driven security
- Secure deployment in the cloud
- Dynamic reconfiguration of of service-oriented and cloud applications.
- Planning and decision making
- Technologies for ensuring autonomic properties (self-security, autonomic deployment)
- Predictive management of adaptability.
- Management of security
- Experiences in practical adaptive and reconfigurable service-oriented and cloud applications for IoT systems
- Tools and prototypes for managing deployment and security
