Workshop Description and Goals
Digital transformation reorganizes current companies and reshapes society infrastructure. Significant challenges for Information System Research is the study of the overall effects of the ongoing digital transformation of society. The transformation has also a direct implication for the development, maintenance and operation of software-intensive products.
Software development and digitalization are an integral part of modern society, shaping virtually everything from the objects around us to the ways in which we communicate.
Software Engineering and Digital Transformation focus on developing advanced knowledge and expertise for the design and development of software and digital services and the digital transformation of business processes.
Digital transformation in this context refers to the change associated with the application of the software engineering body of knowledge (SWEBOK) for the transformation and modernization of digital assets of the business and industry domains.
In this workshop, we would like to invite researchers and practitioners to discuss the role of software engineering in digital transformation for a sustainable society in the 21st century. The goal of the workshop is to share best practices, experiences of successful initiatives, discuss empirical outcomes and novel tools, techniques, and processes to build up and strengthen the community of interest in software engineering.
The workshop aims to :
● Build an international community for future cooperations
● Identify future challenges and opportunities, based on current ones, related to software engineering and digital transformation for sustainable society
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
