The SLICES 2018 international conference is an event to share the significant change of local initiatives that is targeted to become an achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to promote cultural perspectives as one of the special aspects for the significant change for sustainability from Asia Countries.
In partnership with Sanata Dharma University-Yogyakarta, Indonesia. the conference will bring together academics and practitioners across different disciplines to present on keystone issues in the discourse of the theoretical underpinnings, disciplinary thinking, curriculum development and instructional practices on Sustainable Development. The COLONI (Connecting Local Initiatives) 2018 international conference is an event to share the significant change of local initiatives that is targeted to become an achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to promote cultural perspectives as one of the special aspects for the significant change for sustainability from Asia Countries.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

1. Social and Culture
How values and elements of culture influence the development of social aspect in local community? and how it links with sustainable development?
2. Economy and Culture
How economic growth influence local community? how culture influence local economic growth and bring impact to sustainable development?
3. Ecology and Culture
How indigenous knowledge influence nature conservation and preservation?, what strategies needed to promote local culture relate nature for sustainable development?
