List of Topics
While the breadth of the conference focus, "Current Trends in Education", allows most research students and scholars to present their latest findings, proposals that focus on the contemporary significance of their studies are strongly encouraged.
The conference is grouped into three, interrelated themes:
- Theme 1, Contemporary Trends in Educational Research: This theme focuses on the practice and application of educational research and discusses the materiality of educational research and its consequences. This specifically involves current developments, innovations or transformations in educational research.
- Theme 2, Contemporary Contexts in Education, addresses the salient aspects of contemporary educational settings. This theme brings together researchers interested in the broader frame of reference of education. Ranging from international to local settings, researchers are invited to discuss contemporary features of educational contexts.
- Theme 3, Teaching and Learning in Contemporary Education, focuses on the current practices and issues in teaching and learning, including their meanings. This theme offers a forum to explore the multi-faceted perspectives among different stakeholders within the rapidly changing landscape of teaching and learning.
