Abstract
In this study, the polymeric nanomicelles (PNMs) were constructed from poly-lactic acid-D-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate (PLA-TPGS) diblock copolymer and decorated with TPGS-Trsnaferrin conjugate to improve the therapeutic efficy and safety of docetaxel (DTX) in lung cancer therapy in compared docetaxel injection (DocelTM). Drug was loaded into polymeric nanomicelles by using solvent displacement method and conjugated with TPGS-Tf conjugates. The in-vitro cellular uptake and cytotoxicity stuides were performed on adenocarcinomic human alveolar basal epithelial cells (A549 cells). The particle size analysis showed that prepared PNMs were well structured in nano size between 85 and 189 nm with higher drug encapsulation effiency up to 86%. The in-vitro drug release from transferrin receptor targeted PNMs was sustained for more than 72 h with 59% of drug release. Further, transferrin receptor targeted PNMs have shown a higher uptake of coumarin 6 in compared to other counterparts in A549 cells. The DTX-PLATPGS-Tf achieved up 70.34-fold decrease in IC50 value compared with that of DocelTM, after 24 h incubation with A549 cells. The study revealed that transferrin receptor targeted PNMs showed signifiantly higher cytotoxicity, low toxic profies and thereby improved efficy as well as safety for lung cancer therapy.

2) Guidelines for off-line poster presentation
A poster is a concise and impressive way to highlight and present project or research work and is a requirement for research scholars to document their findings. Poster should be of proper font size, colour and should convey clear and to the point information in given time. The “Title and Conclusion” are the important part of poster. Use colours wherever necessary. Avoid text in all capital letters. Text in upper and lower case is easier to read.
Poster participants are expected to follow following guidelines for poster making.
Font size and type:
- Use font either Arial or Times New Roman throughout the poster and avoid fancy fonts.
- All headings except for topic title should be 36 font size and in bold, capital letters.
- Subheadings font size should be 30 pt., bold and in all capital letters.
- References and Acknowledgments font size should be 20 pt.
- Text should be 20 to 26 pt, which should be visible from 3-6 feet (1-2 meters) distance. Avoid lengthy notes.
- The poster board should be not more than 0.95 meter (95 cm), wide by 1.2 meter and height (120 cm).
The use of visuals –
The most effective way of making poster and conveying the maximum amount of information is by using well labelled and topic appropriate graphs or diagrams.
The layout
1. Title: Briefly tell the idea of the project. Use 60 point or more. Title should be visible from 2 to 3meters. Author(s) name: 40 pt, bold. Institution address: 36 pt, normal. Underline the name of the presenting author. Do not use degrees, titles or designations for any of the authors. Title should fairly reflects the poster content. Try to present one main result with the conclusion (declarative title).
2. Abstract: Abstract font size is 20 to 24 for poster and should be the same as sent during poster submission through Easychair conference 2022 portal link. Length of abstract should not exceed 250 words.
3. Introduction: Introduction should provide context for the poster and should involve contents as per following terms.
First paragraph: Review of literature or background information. Define the topic; explain what was studied before, and the state of existing knowledge relevant to the study undertaken.
Second paragraph: Rationale or significance of the study. Why is the study imortant?
Third paragraph: Objective(s) of the work. Gaps that the project is intended to fill.
Fourth paragraph: State hypothesi(e)s, if it is a hypothesis driven study.
4. Methods: This is a necessary for a scientific poster based on experimental design. An overview of the experimental design citing the work done along with references for standard methods should be mentioned. Cite the references by numerals (1, 2, 3 etc.,) in superscript. If used, Information regarding statistical methods and ethical approval should be mentioned sincerely.
5. Results: Findings and derivations from study should be properly mentioned. Use of tables and figures (no text) to clarify and depict study results is encouraged. These should be clear, concise and self-explanatory. Legends for both Tables and Figures/Graphs are advised to be included in this section.
6. Discussion: Add this section as per research study and understanding of results, if required. This is optional, if conclusions are clear.
7. Conclusion: It should be consistent with study results and related to objectives, research questions and hypothesis. Mentioning of possible future work is appreciated in brief bullet statements.
8. Reference and Acknowledgement: Optional.
Note: Please use attached poster format.
Footnote: Should be in below format.
Presented at the “Recent Advances and Challenges in Healthcare” (REACH) held at GD Goenka University during 22-23 August 2022
3) Guidelines for virtual poster/oral presentation
