The China–Scotland-ASEAN Robotics Automation Conference for the Industry 4.0 age (RACI)
26-28/Jul/2020, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.
The China–Scotland-ASEAN Robotics Automation Conference for the Industry 4.0 age (RACI) is going to be held in partnership with the China-Scotland Signal Image Processing Research Academy (SIPRA) from 26 to 28 July 2020 in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.
The challenges with digital connectivity, data security, worker and interoperability of technologies along with a cultural reluctance towards change could prevent UK, China and ASEAN countries manufacturers from taking full advantage of the opportunities to improve productivity that the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) presents. The transformation of the global manufacturing sector will require multifaceted change and support from government, industry and higher education sectors.
To combat the challenges, RACI setups an international research forum of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics & Automation for industrial 4.0 oriented international collaborative programmes. The conference aims to bring together researchers and experts in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics & Automation, Sensors & IoT, Assistive Technology, Industry 4.0 to share their ideas, experiences and insights.
We welcome researchers and practitioners from research institutions, R&D enterprise services and governmental organizations from UK, China and ASEAN countries to exchange innovative contributions around the conference topics. It will feature plenary speeches, industrial panel sessions, funding agency panel sessions, interactive sessions, and theme sessions. Contributions are expected from academia, industry and government funding councils.
Call for papers could be available here.
