Hybrid-PROMETHEE Days 2021 - October 12-14, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Main Theme: PROMETHEE after Covid-19
In 2021, the PROMETHEE Days return to Greece. We invite you to Thessaloniki for this eighth workshop! The PROMETHEE Days 2021 workshop is hosted by Professor Jason Papathanasiou at the University of Macedonia (www.uom.gr) in Thessaloniki, Greece, from October 12 to 14, 2021. It is a great opportunity to meet your PROMETHEE Community’s fellows.
The PROMETHEE Days workshops aim to provide a communication platform for scholars, researchers, developers, specialists and other professionals in the related areas of multicriteria decision making to get together and to exchange ideas, share experiences, discuss key issues, and identify future research and development directions.
Papers related to theoretical developments, comparative analyses, or practical applications of the PROMETHEE methods are welcome.
The PROMETHEE Days 2021 workshop focus on PROMETHEE after Covid-19. 2020 has been a terrible year for all of us. We had to switch to e-PROMETHEE Days 2020 and were not allowed to meet in Rabat. We hope that most of us will be able and allowed to travel to Thessaloniki in October. However, it is difficult to make forecasts, the international health situation is still difficult, and our workshop will thus be hybrid:
• We are working hard to have an as large as possible physical on-site presence at Thessaloniki. This is essential to keep our PROMETHEE Community alive.
• We also allow for online participation, for those of us who are not allowed to or prefer not to travel to Greece in October.
In this context, key topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Multicriteria Decision Aid
- Decision Support Modeling
- Data Science, Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
- Collaborative Decision Making
- Application Models and Systems: Agricultural, Environmental, Farming, Water Resources, Livestock, Fisheries, Warehouse, Sustainable Forest and Rangeland Management, Food Processing, Supply Chain Management, ...
- Case Studies involving any of the above issues.
Invited speakers: We welcome the invited lectures of two distinguished speakers:
- Professor George Aretoulis
- Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece
- Professor Jelena Stankovic
- University of Nis, Serbia
