About the Congress
The Philippine eLearning Society (PeLS) is the country’s leading organization in promoting the development of eLearning competencies through education, training and collaboration among various stakeholders in government, industry and academe.
The 14th National eLearning Conference (NeLC 2018 ) is organized by PeLS in partnership with the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and hosted by Caraga State University, Butuan City. NeLC 2018 is a premier academic forum which aims to gather eLearning practitioners, educators, trainors, researchers, media specialists, instructional designers, university school administrators, policy makers, industry partners and students across the country to present and exchange new advances and research results in various aspects of eLearning as well as discuss the encountered challenges and practical adopted solutions for a successful eLearning program implementation.
Theme and Objectives
This year’s conference theme is “Gaining the Edge: Integrating eLearning in Extension and Research”. The Conference aims to be a venue for exchange of research on aspects of elearning, , elearning trends, innovation, best practices and challenges in eLearning.
Specifically, the conference aims to:
- Bring together, elearning practicioners in the government and industry, leading academic researchers and research scholars , teachers and school administrators to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of e-Learning
- provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, industry practitioners and educators and administrators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of e-Learning in the industry and education
- to present opportunities to discuss the changing landscape of education and industry in the light of K- 12 implementation.
