Workshop goal and List of Topics
One of the most promising mobile technology application areas is healthcare. Some recent advances in mobile, Internet-based and wireless technologies have supported smart solutions for delivering improved healthcare. Use of mobile technology for healthcare and wellbeing has proved to be cost effective and accessible in most countries, including low income countries. From ambient/assisted living to access to healthcare, mobile technology promises to transform healthcare services for all who require support and care. This transformation is accompanied by a set of challenges related to developing platforms/infrastructure, frameworks, devices and software solutions to enable safe and secure mobile care delivery.
The MT4H workshop aims at providing a forum for discussion and sharing of research promoting all aspects of the mobile solutions for healthcare. Original research papers are invited on all aspects related to m-health, from smart ubiquitous environments to mobile apps, devices and systems applications in healthcare. Practical implementation, deployment and management solutions from the healthcare industry (including the NHS trusts) are also of interest.
