India is at the threshold of transformation and growth, which needs to be planned so as to realize the vision of India 2047. The nation has shown high potential to grow along with its capability to stand against its challenges. The country of 1.3 billion people has its own opportunities and challenges. The capacity to manage and overcome the effects of pandemic with an understated healthcare facility and its limited resources has been a benchmark for many. It has been able to rightly prioritize the bottom of the pyramid population and has been able to create an entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country. But still the journey towards a sustainable and inclusive growth needs to drawn for realizing the goal of a sustainable economy.
The seminar is hosted by Faculty of Management Studies – PG, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies. Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) was established in the year 2009 under Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS, Formerly MRIU- a NAAC Accredited ‘A’ Grade Institution), a Deemed-to-be-University under Section 3 of the UGC Act (1956). Ranked among the league of Top Management Institutions of the country by NIRF-MHRD, NHRDN, TOI, Business India, Business Today, India Today and Careers360, FMS strives to provide quality education to students through a right proportion of industry and academic exposure.
The seminar will give an opportunity to researchers, practitioners, faculty members and students to present their research work and its relatedness with Sustainable and Inclusive growth for India 2047. The research outcomes from multiple disciplines will get converge to create a clear vision for India 2047. It will be a platform to present the illustrative work undertaken and as well as new developments in pipeline towards achieving sustainable and inclusive future.
Aims and Objectives
The event will provide a forum for presentation and discussion of:
- Sustainable development which considered in terms of a multi dimensional outcome, i.e. a) environmental sustainability, b) economic sustainability and c) social sustainability
- The role of technology is adding to agility to expedite the pace of transformation for inclusive growth.
- The innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives towards sustainable growth and development
- The understanding of international business contexts and leveraging the geo-political scenario to promote inclusive growth.
In addition to the above the event will create an excellent opportunity for networking and establishing a sustainable network with partner and stakeholder organizations.
