MCS11 is the eleventh symposium in a series on combustion and related topics, the Mediterranean Combustion Symposia, held by the scientific communities from countries around the Mediterranean.

The Symposium has grown over the years, becoming an important conference on Combustion. The quality of many of the accepted papers is considered to be the same as in the top combustion journals.
