Abstract registration deadline | April 20, 2019 |
Submission deadline | May 10, 2019 |
If you have research or an idea that will protect voters and democratic elections, we want to hear about it. "Make America Secure Again" is a pitch event for ideas focused on election systems security. If you are a cybersecurity company, an entrepreneur in cyberspace or a cybersecurity subject matter expert, ready to make a pitch, this is the place where you submit your abstract.
Submission Guidelines
Papers are due May 10th. Authors will be notified May 12th and then final versions are due May 20th.
Four pages is the maximum length. We will look for a revelation – something compelling and illuminating on the state of election security. We expect that shorter submissions may contain unexplored areas research but should also have enough findings that give the InfoSec community reason to want to see the full report.
We will look for submissions similar to those the 12th USENIX Workshop on Cyber Security and Experimentation and Test (CSET ’19) has called for. That includes:
- Research Papers
- Position Papers
- Experience Papers
- Preliminary Work Papers
- Extended Work Papers
All ideas must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
MASA is not affiliated with any political party. We will not reward or punish papers that take a political position, but we are more concerned with the research and what it reveals rather than a document that advances a partisan political position.
