The OPU-TKU Joint symposium has been organized annually by Osaka Prefecture University (OPU) and Tamkang University (TKU) in rotation for 6 years. Since last year, for expanding this meeting to welcome more outstanding scholars, the founder of this conference, Prof. Masakazu Anpo (the former Academic Vice-President of OPU) suggested inviting more potential colleges, especially from Vietnam and Thailand. King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), HCM City University of Technology (HCMUT), Da Lat University (DLU), and Tay Nguyen University (TNU) were invited and agreed to join this symposium. Therefore, thetitle of this symposium is expanded as the 7^th HCMMUT-TKU-OPU-KMITL-DLU-TNU Joint Symposium on Chemistry, Environment, Natural Sciences and Technologies. This year, the joint symposium will be held at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on October 25, 2019 by the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources (FENR), Ho chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT).

Submission Guidelines

An abstract (300 words max) for oral and poster presentations should be submitted through the symposium website at www.jscens.hcmut.edu.vn. The abstracts must be written in English, should contain the title, author’s names and their affiliations, keywords, and email address of the presenting author. Please use the provided template for preparing the abstract. Submitted abstracts will be screened by the scientific committee and official acceptant letters will be issued once they are accepted. Extended abstracts of accepted presentations will be printed in the symposium abstract book.

Submitted abstracts will be screened by the scientific committee and official acceptant letters will be issued once they are accepted. Extended abstracts of accepted presentations will be printed in the symposium abstract book. 

Based on the selection of the scientific committee, high-quality presentations will be invited to submit full papers for a special issue of Journal Research on Chemical Intermediates (RCI). Please note that the submitted papers still have to undergo a peer review process to ensure the high quality of the published work. Detailed instructions will be provided later.
