Submission Guidelines
Participation and submitting proposals to the symposium will be made via waqfsymposium@gmail.com or via EasyChair. All submitted studies will be examined by the Scientific Committee and positive or negative notifications will be sent to the applications. The study that you submitted must have been previously unpresented and unpublished. The submission should include an abstract both in Turkish, English and Arabic (English abstract is required for both Turkish and Arabic submissions), briefly and laconically expressing the subject, in maximum 200-250 words. There should be no reference to used sources, figure and chart numbers. Names and lastnames, the institution the author is associated with, her/his contact and e-mail addresses should also be specified.

The abstract of the papers submitted to the symposium will be included in the abstract book. In addition, the full papers will be published in the book titled as “Waqfs and Alleviating Poverty” by IZU and ADAM, or in the international peer-review academic journals: ADAM ACADEMY Journal of Social Sciences and Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance after referee evaluation process.
Venue
Symposium will be held at the Halkalı Campus of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. Participants will meet their own transportation costs. Authors of selected papers who will attend from outside of Istanbul will be provided accommodation in the guest house of IZU. Address: Halkali Cad.
