2022 Theme: Quality-of-Life for Resilient Futures: Sustainability, Equity, and Wellbeing
2022 Description: The ISQOLS 2022 Conference in Burlington, Vermont, USA is the first in-person ISQOLS gathering since the global pandemic began. It provides the opportunity to build connections within our interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary community of scholars and practitioners dedicated to promoting quality-of-life and wellbeing. Hosted on the campus of The University of Vermont, the conference provides a forum for reflecting on our collective learning about quality-of-life throughout the global pandemic while providing evidence about how to cultivate resilience at all scales (individual, community, national, global) with a special focus on sustainability, equity, and wellbeing impacts on quality-of-life. We are pleased to welcome researchers, practitioners, students, professionals, faculty, retirees, experts and novices to Burlington, Vermont, USA in August 2022. Selected special events and lectures during the conference will be recorded.
Call for Workshops
On August 3, there is the opportunity to organize a workshop for conference participants. Workshops have an educational character and cater to the PhD and postdoc community at ISQOLS. Please send an e-mail to isqols2022@gmail.com if you would like to organize a workshop before December 15th.
Call for Symposia
It is possible to organize a symposium (i.e. special sessions) at ISQOLS 2022. Please send an e-mail to Kelly Hamshaw isqols2022@gmail.com before December 15 if you are interested in organizing one or more sessions. Subsequently, the symposium will be added to the online submission system. Please note that all participants in a symposium have to submit their abstract via the online submission portal and all abstracts will be subject to review by the scientific committee.
Call for Abstracts for Papers and Posters
Abstracts for papers and posters dealing with scientific research or best practice examples in all areas of quality-of-life, well-being and happiness are highly welcomed and need to be submitted via EasyChair. Abstracts have to be submitted by the presenting author. Submitting authors should choose one topic, track, or symposium in which they want to submit the abstract. In case authors are not submitting to a specific symposium, they are requested to carefully check the entire list of topics (see below) to ensure they submit to the most appropriate topic.
Sessions will be organized in the form of Posters or Paper Presentations. Authors should specify which type of session they prefer when submitting their abstract.
All abstracts must be in English and no more than 250 words. The presenting author of accepted abstracts must register to the conference to be included in the program.
Important Dates
Deadline workshops and symposia is December 15 and the abstract submission deadline is January 15, 2022 has been EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 15, 2022. Submissions made prior to January 15 will receive a notification of acceptance via email to the corresponding author(s) by March 30, 2022; Submissions made after January 15 and by February 15 will receive notice of acceptance via email by April 15, 2022.
