IPSERA ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2018
Purchasing and supply organisations are uniquely poised to bring innovative ideas, reduce risks and maximize the utilization of assets and data. Supply networks are potentially an invaluable source of innovations and new technologies which cut down total costs drastically and accelerate the pace of launching new competitive products.
The conference will provide a forum for academics and practitioners to present research papers and discuss opportunities to improve effectiveness and creativity in organisations through the design of innovative purchasing and supply chain strategies. An underlying intent of the conference will be is to gain a better understanding of strategic radical changes and innovations with environmental, ethical, and responsible organizational performance.

Submission Guidelines
Three types of papers will be accepted:
- Competitive papers based on a full paper
- Working papers based on an extended abstract
- Practitioner papers based on an extended abstract
Competitive Papers
Competitive papers should be conceptual or empirical papers that are, in principle, submission-ready. These papers should follow the format and style outlined in the “Submission Guidelines” on the conference website (max. number of pages: 15).
Working / Practitioner Papers
Working papers indicate “work in progress”. These papers can report on empirical or conceptual research. Practitioner papers can only be submitted by practitioners (also together with academics) and should be objective in their approach and not in the form of commercial promotional material for a business or product.

The conference will be held in Athens.
