Postponement of the 15th International Symposium for Olympic Research
ICOS has made the difficult decision to postpone the July 2020 15th International Symposium for Olympic Research.
By postponing the 15th International Symposium for Olympic Research, ICOS is seeking to ensure that we are doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its impact on the Academic community and the public. It is important to note that: Most universities including Western University, have closed their facilities, or are vulnerable to closures, for the mass gathering and conference hosting.
At this time, ICOS is exploring possible alternative dates to hold the 15th International Symposium for Olympic Research. If, and when, an alternate date can be set, ICOS will inform candidates who have registered and/or submitted abstracts for the 15th International Symposium for Olympic Research.
Academics are encouraged to regularly check ICOS website ( https://www.uwo.ca/olympic/ ) for updates. More information about withdrawals and refunds will be available in the coming weeks.
