Honors Capstone "Proposal" and "Final Report"- HP 390- 490
Submission Guidelines
The Honors Program at Clarkson University uses EasyChair system to facilitate the submission and review processes of Honors students’ capstone proposal and final reports.
Each student in the Honors Program should select a type of capstone project and an appropriate topic. Students will work on their Capstone proposal during their junior year by taking HP 390 class; and finalize their Capstone report during their senior year by taking HP 490 class.
Each student should have a faculty member or professional expert (from industry) as his/her Capstone advisor who is in the field and can evaluate and feedback on students’ capstone from technical point of view.
All submission must be original. The following submission categories are considered:
- Proposal (HP 390)
- Final Report (HP 490)
Each submission (including Proposal & Final Report) should go through a review process, i.e., one of the faculty members or professional experts (from industry) will be designated as the reviewer.
Types of Capstone include:
- Traditional Research capstone,
- Internship/Co-Op
- Creative Work
- Business Plan
- Others
