Call for Book Chapter Food Printing: 3D Printing in Food Industry
The “Food sector” is one of the world's largest economic sectors, providing essential foods for the world's population- food market, widely known for its material on innovations. 3D Printing Technology has been considered as to the supply of the customized, personal, multi-material food, and the innovative design of cakes, cookies, chocolates, and other food products. Product Food Designing have just begun their career in dealing with the Food sector. The eminent designers, mechanical engineers, material science scientists, and food technologist, nutrition scientist understood the potential of 3DP Technology and directed them for developing new innovative food with excellent designing.
We are pleased to share that SPRINGER NATURE has recently authorized for publication of a new edited book “Food Printing: 3D printing in Food Industry”. This book will capture the Food Printing innovation, across the globe, to support developing essential food. Followings will be the critical aspects of the book, but not limited to:
- 3D Printing in the Food sector

- Materials for Food Printing

- Challenges and Emerging Opportunities

If you agree to participate, please submit your book chapter proposal including tentative title, author list and abstract. The deadlines are as follows:
- Title, authors, and 1-page abstract: 25 December 2020
- The decision on the book chapter proposal: 30 December 2020
- Submission of the full-length chapter: 29 February 2021
