We invite submissions for the first FAST Business Research Conference (FBRC) with the special theme of “Digitalization and Challenges for the Business World: An Era of Imagination and Creativity”. The conference is being hosted by the FAST School of Management, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore-Campus. The conference will be held on November, 14th, 2019.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original. Authors are invited to submit full articles or review papers. All submission should be made in the form of a Word File or PDF file. Latex users may submit the pdf file only. All submissions will be double blind peer reviewed and all papers will receive referees’ comments. Therefore, submissions should have authors' names and affiliations removed, and avoid obvious identifying statements. All headings and pages in the paper must be consecutively numbered. All manuscripts will be submitted in APA (6th) style with 4000 max. words including abstract, figures, tables and references. Please count 200 words for one table/figure.
We anticipate the acceptance rate might not exceed 50%. All the submissions will be made through Easy Chair. The submission link is https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fbrc1.

Phd Colloquium
A PhD Colloquium is proposed to be organized as a part of this conference. This colloquium will provide the doctoral students with the opportunity to present their work to experienced faculty members and scholars from their fields and engage with each other in a relatively informal but meaningful setting. The aim of the Doctoral Colloquium is to contribute towards a transformative journey for doctoral students, who will not only receive feedback on their doctoral research but also learn about fundamentals of a doctoral journey including research methods related matters, publication and review process of impact factor journals.
Best Paper Award
There will be two awards for the best papers as follows:
- Best Paper Award (Recognized with Shield and PKR 5,000/-)
- Best Student Paper Award (Recognized with a Shield)
Publication
All the papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Moreover, We are proud to collaborate with South Asian Journal of Business Studies. Selected papers will be invited to make a submission to the journal. However, the final decision will be made by the editor-in-chief of the journal.
