The conference was established as a tribute to the memory of Dmitry Aleksandrovich Zavalishin (1900-1968) – a Russian scientist, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, professor, doctor of technical sciences, honored worker of science and technology of the RSFSR, founder of the school of valve energy converters based on electric machines and valve converters energy. The first conference was organized by the Institute of Innovative Technologies in Electromechanics and Robotics of the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation in 2006 and is timed to the 60th anniversary of the Institute. Today the conference has become international and be held for the thirteenth time in St. Petersburg.
The purpose of the conference is the exchange of information and progressive results of scientific research work of scientific and pedagogical workers, young scientists, graduate students, applicants and students in the field of: automatic control systems, electromechanics, electric power engineering and electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, automation, technical physics and management in the electric power industry.
Submission Guidelines
Papers submitted to ER(ZR)-2018 must not be under review by any other conference or publication during the review cycle, and must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere. Authors are invited to submit a full paper with the size of 6 pages formatted in the EDP Sciences style (https://www.matec-conferences.org/doc_journal/instructions/woc_2col.doc) using the online submission system (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=erzr2018). The paper format for the review has to be the PDF file with all required fonts included. Upon notification of acceptance, speakers will receive further information on submitting their camera-ready and electronic sources.

Conference fee
The conference fee is 250 USD paid after notification of paper accept. It includes visa support, one copy of the conference materials, refreshments/coffee breaks, admissions, a museum excursion, and organizing costs. Bank account details and payment instructions will be sent to participants after papers approval. At least one of the authors has to register and pay the registration fee by March 01, 2018 for their paper to be included in the conference proceedings.

The conference will be held on the campus of the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (67, Bolshaya Morskaya St., St.Petersburg)
