Call for Papers
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), a Deemed to be University, invites researchers to submit unpublished research papers for the 7th International Conference on “Empirical Issues in International Trade & Finance (EIITF)” on 16th and 17th December, 2021 on hybrid mode at its Kolkata Campus, India. Depending upon the pandemic situation, the conference will encourage physical and virtual presence of the participants as per their preferences and/or government guidelines.
The Conference provides a forum for dissemination of modern research and facilitates exchange of ideas among renowned scholars from India and abroad and we feel an online conference cannot be the perfect alternative to a physical conference. Therefore, we have decided to host the conference on a hybrid mode, which would help to maintain the COVID-19 safety protocols.
The earlier EIITF conferences hosted eminent key notes speakers like Prof. L. Alan Winters, distinguished Professor of Economics at University of Sussex, Prof. Joshua Aizenman, distinguised Professor of International Relations and Economics at University of Southern California. Jeffrey Bergstrand, Professor at University of Notre Dame, Gita Gopinath, Professor of International Studies and Economics, Harvard University and Chief Economist of the International Monetary Fund, Kala Krishna, Professor of Economics at the Pennsylvania State University, Maitreesh Ghatak, Professor of Economics, London School of Economics, among others
7th Conference on EIITF is expecting to host the following esteemed academicians as invited speakers.
Pol Antràs Robert G. Ory Professor of Economics at Harvard University
