The Erasmus Summer School in Physics (E3F) is an activity coordinated by the Faculty of Physics of the Universitat de València that aims to offer a series of courses, lectures and activities both recreational and educational to students of the Degree in Physics, Mathematics and Physics, Optics and Optometry, and other related subjects (Mathematics, Chemistry...), as well as to high school students interested in science and technology. The E3F School will consist on different activities (talks, courses, leisure activities, visits to laboratories, etc.). If you have an interest for such topics, register today to the E3F School, come with us and enjoy!
This year the E3F School is part of the activities developed within the FORTHEM alliance, and that is why the talks will be mainly in English. This year's E3F School will be held in person again, after the online format that was taken for the 2020 and 2021 editions due to the health situation caused by Covid-19. Even so, the organising committee has prepared a programme that you will be able to follow online.
Registration and Contributions
It is not mandatory to send a contribution, you can register to the School as an attendee (60 seats available) using the submission link above. If this is your case, please write "attendee" in the "title" and "keywords" sections of the registration form.
You will need to register at Easychair to book your seat!
In addition there is also the possibility for those of you interested in talking us about your research or your topic of interest related to Physics. Contributions are welcome from everybody (high school students, grad and postgrad students, young researchers...).
The contributions can be
- oral talk (15' + 5' of questions)
- poster (maximum: 20 posters)
The template for the abstracts of contributions can be found here
https://www.uv.es/delpimar/e3f.docx
Contributions can be sent through the registration platform (you need to register at Easychair), using the "submission link" above, together with your registration as an attendee.
You can find a guide for your registration and sending yous contribution here

Topics
The programme will include invited talks focused on Applied Physics and Theoretical Physics, as well as contributions on other topics, from young researchers and students from the Faculty of Physics, always with an outreach level. There will also be cross-disciplinary activities.

Social activities
We have organized a series of activities addressed to promote the interaction between attendees, speakers and organizers. You will meet other people with the same interests than you and, who knows, maybe your future classmates!
Tuesday afternoon
After the round table, we will have the poster session and networking time with snacks and drinks
Thursday afternoon
"Photonets' Physicist Race", a ludic activity organized by @Photonets_UV, an OPTICA chapter and outreach in optics and photonics association. Physics and Maths are also for fun!
Thursday evening 19:00 h.
Historical route through the centre of Valencia, guided by @CaminArt. Come and learn about the past of the city where you will build your future. Free activity. Please indicate in the registration form your interest in participating.
Thursday night
Social dinner. Each participant at his/her own cost. Please indicate in the registration form your interest in joining us.
