INTRODUCTION
Around 527 workers in the European Union under the age of 25 are killed at work each year. Young European workers suffer around 714 000 accidents at work every year (EUROSTAT 2015). In the EU about 14% of all pupils, drop out before completing the entire school path, and start working without any knowledge and experiences on issues of occupational hazards and how to recognize and prevent them. This is a cross-social problem to many EU countries, and has been a priority in the EU occupational health and safety policies and directives in the last two decades. In some of these territories, occupational health and safety issues, are included in the national curricula, while in other countries, the curriculum restraints, or the teaching education policy priorities difficult all the process.
MIND SAFETY – SAFETY MATTERS! project aims to provide a collaborative and inclusive learning approach on OSH by establishing an interface between teacher education/training and learning contexts in OSH. The project will help teachers to expand competences and to provide the right tools to deal with OSH issues at the classroom.
Seven partners from five countries with complementary characteristics, competences and geographical coverage, sharing the common goals of promoting OSH education and improve the awareness of the hazards at work, to foster the decrease of young/future workers work accidents numbers.
PROJECT

- OSH! What a bright idea! – Practical Guide for Teachers – a pedagogical web resource which will include educational tools and methodological suggestions in the perspective of inclusive school for the exchange of knowledge and experience using a web platform.
