CESPES18 will be the first international conference to be promoted and organized by CESPES, an international research center focusing on Pascal and the Seventeenth century, based at DISUM, the Department of Human Sciences at the University of Catania, Italy.
The conference will be open to any original paper that will somehow focus on the interaction between philosophy and science, through one or more philosophically relevant aspects.
The conference will have a magnificent venue and will be hosted at DISUM, whose offices and rooms are located at the ex-benedictine monastery in Catania, the second largest in Europe.
The conference dates are 24-25 May 2018.
The abstract submission deadline is 31 January 2018.
The full paper submission deadline is 15 April 2018.
The registration fee is 200€ (different fees might apply for different kinds of presentation) and covers presentation, lunch break, CESPES18 stationery, publication. The registration payment deadline is 10 April 2018.
All the registered authors will have their full papers or abstracts published in a special issue of the CESPES journal, with its own ISSN.

Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers on any topic focusing on one or more aspects of the interaction between philosophy and science. Maximum length is 20 minutes. Accepted languages are Italian, English, French.
