School of Environmental Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering (CENVIRON 2017) on 28-29th November 2017 in the beautiful city of Penang, Malaysia.

CENVIRON 2017 is dedicated to cutting edge research that addresses scientific needs and integrates knowledge and progress among academicians, researchers, industries, corporate organizations and interest groups in various civil and environmental related fundamentals and applications towards achieving green and sustainable environment. The conference is scheduled to include high-quality paper presentation sessions revealing the latest original unpublished research findings, and to engage participants in interesting discussion sessions.

All reviewed and accepted papers will be published in SCOPUS indexed journal subjected to meeting the journal requirements. Awards will be given to best paper, best presenter and best poster. Participants of CENVIRON 2017 will also be awarded with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points towards their professional career development by The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM).

CENVIRON 2017 invites submission of high quality unpublished papers in the following areas. Papers in other related areas are also welcomed.

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

Publication

All accepted papers for CENVIRON 2017 will be published in several Scopus-indexed journals/proceedings subjected to meeting the journals' requirements.

The CENVIRON 2017 will take place at Flamingo Hotel by the Beach, Penang, Malaysia. 

Flamingo Hotel by the Beach, Penang (Google Map) is located within Tanjung Bungah, a serene environment by the beach. The hotel is conveniently not too far away from the heart of Georgetown (12.8km, 15 minutes), and the calmness of Batu Ferringhi (2.5km, 5 minutes).
