It's our pleasure to invite you to submit your work to the XIV Congress on Computational Intelligence which will be held in Belém (PA) from 3 to 6 November 2019. The CBIC is a bi-annual conference organized by the Brazilian Society of Computational Intelligence (SBIC). Since 2015, CBIC is also supported by the Brazilian Association of Computational Intelligence (ABRICOM).
CBIC 2019 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, researchers, engineers, professionals and educators to disseminate their latest research and exchange views for the future of computational intelligence.

Submission Guidelines
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING FINAL VERSION: October 10th 2019!
All works (either in English or portuguese) must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following categories are welcome:
- Paper Format
-Paper Size: US Letter format (8.5" x 11")
-Paper Length: Up to 8 pages, including figures, tables, references. At maximum, two additional pages are permitted with over-length page charge
-Paper Formatting: double column, single spaced, 10pt font
-Margins: Left, Right, and Bottom: 0.75" (19mm). The top margin must be 0.75" (19 mm), except for the title page where it must be 1" (25 mm)
-No page numbers
Please submit only full papers in PDF. To ensure proper formatting of your paper, please download the the following style files for U.S. Letter Size:

- Posters
-Abstracts must be no more than 1 page (text and figures). The font must be in Times New Roman at a size of 11
-Abstract Format–Each abstract must be divided into the following three sections:(1) Background, Motivation and Objective; (2) Statement of Contribution/Methods; (3) Results, Discussion and Conclusions. In addition, the total number of characters excluding spaces, title, author names, and affiliations is limited to 2500. It is recommended that the “results” include a reference to at least some quantified result already achieved
-Figures and Tables: Figures and tables are allowed as long as they are in JPEG (.jpg) or GIF (.gif) file format. Length text + figures + tables must be no more than 1 page in all. PLEASE NOTE: If figures are included in the abstract, text within the figure must display at 10 points or above. Figures that are difficult to read will be ignored or down-scored according to the reviewer's determination. Each figure or table will count for 500 characters towards the allowed total of 2500 characters.

-PLEASE AVOID THE USE OF SPECIAL INTERNATIONAL FONTS

One non-student registration can cover up to two papers. One student registration can cover one paper in which the student is a co-author. Any type of registration can cover up to two posters. An additional article may be published at an extra cost of R$ 300,00.
Authors from selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to Journal of Learning & Nonlinear Models.
