The 35th International Conference on Computer Animation and Social Agents (CASA 2022) will be held on July 5-7, 2022 in Nanjing, China.

CASA is the oldest international conference in computer animation and social agents in the world. It was founded in Geneva in 1988 under the name of Computer Animation (CA). In the last past ten years, CASA was held in Switzerland (2006), Belgium (2007), Korea (2008), Netherlands (2009), France (2010), China (2011), Singapore (2012), Turkey (2013), United States (2014), Singapore (2015), Switzerland (2016), Korea (2017), China (2018), France (2019), UK (2020), and Ottawa (2021).CASA 2022 will provide a great opportunity to interact with leading experts, share your own work, and educate yourself through exposure to the research of your peers from around the world.

Submission Guidelines

Submission Method

1. Papers for publication must be submitted in full paper electronically via the following link. All edition and update must be done up until the submission deadline.

If you want to edit and update the manuscript, please log in the same account (User name & Password) and update it. Don't creat another account to do so.

Note that the review process is double blind, which requires the paper and all supplemental materials to be anonymous. Anonymity Guidelines:

  1. Remove author and institutional information from the author list on the title page.
  2. Remove author information from all paper headers.
  3. Remove clues from the main text that would directly identify any of the authors.
  4. Your own published work that appears on mainstream (including online) and are available for the reviewer must be cited in the third person, in a manner that is not traceable to the identity of the authors. For example: “In [3], Mountain and River have proposed …” is acceptable, whereas “In [3], we have proposed …” is not, when reference [3] is listed such as “IEEE Trans. PAMI, 6(6):721-741, November 1984”.
  5. Anonymize your PDF file. Note that PDF creator programs may accidentally leave Author information in the file header.
  6. Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in direct rejection of the paper

All papers submitted to CASA’22 have to be original and checked for plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, by each author prior to submission. If a paper is found to fall in the category of plagiarism, the paper will be automatically rejected.

If your paper is accepted for publication at this conference, you will also need to adhere to the following requirements:• Without copyright form, we can NOT publish your article. The conference secretary will send you the notification about it.• REMINDER: At least one of the authors listed on the accepted paper must be registered AND attend the conference to present their paper.

Accepted full papers will be recommended to publish in a special issue of the Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds Journal published by Wiley (CAVW). Other accepted papers and posters will be published in the conference proceeding. All submissions will be reviewed via a double-blind review process..
