The Annual Meetings on Phonology (AMP) are held every fall, and showcase high quality research in all areas of phonology. In Fall 2020 AMP will be hosted by the University of California, Santa Cruz. AMP 2020 will be held virtually, using the Zoom web conferencing platform, rather than in person.
A tutorial on intonation will be held in conjunction with AMP 2020, featuring invited presentations from Anja Arnhold (University of Alberta), Emily Elfner (York University), Jon Barnes (Boston University), and Arto Anttila (Stanford University). Submissions to the main AMP conference which deal with intonation, phrasal phonology, and other areas of prosody are particularly encouraged.
In previous years AMP has been held at UMass Amherst, MIT, UBC/Simon Fraser, USC, NYU, UCSD, and Stony Brook.
