We are pleased to invite you to the 3D GeoInfo 2021 conference, October 11-14. The conference offers an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to discuss and exchange advances in the field of 3D geo-information. There will also be a virtual job fair and poster sessions, as well as local networking opportunities in select hub cities around the world.

- Data creation and acquisition (e.g., aerial, terrestrial, UAV)
- Topography and bathymetry
- Remote sensing (e.g., hyperspectral, multispectral, thermal, high-res)
- Data management - data quality, metadata, provenance and trust
- Data integration, information fusion, multi-modal data analysis
- Visualization, including gamification, virtual reality, augmented reality
- Artificial intelligence, machine learning
- Big data, parallel computing, cloud computing
- 3D city modeling, underground infrastructure modeling
- Building information modeling (BIM), digital twins, smart cities, smart infrastructure
- 3D GIS, usability and human-computer interaction
- Other applications (e.g., 3D land administration, navigation, urban planning, geology, archaeology, marine systems, autonomous vehicles, energy modeling, disaster & risk management)
Submissions and Publications
We encourage contributions presenting techniques, algorithms, benchmarks, technology developments, frameworks, best practices, and case studies.
Submit contributions to 3D GeoInfo 2021 as full papers, abstract papers, or posters via EasyChair for 3D GeoInfo. These will be selected through a double-blind, review process and should not be published elsewhere. Submissions should be prepared according to the ISPRS guidelines. All accepted contributions will be presented at the conference.
- Accepted full papers (max 8 pages) will be published in the ISPRS Annals.
- Extended abstracts (max 2 pages) – accepted abstracts will be invited for a short paper (4-6 pages) and will be published in the ISPRS Archives.
- Posters should be submitted as an abstract outlining their content. Accepted poster abstracts (1 page) will be on the website with the conference program.
