The annual North East Regional Learning And Teaching Conference will be held on the 10th September 2019 hosted by Durham University building upon the success of previous partnership events held by the region’s Universities (Teesside, Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland and Northumbria).
The title of this conference is ‘Embedding Student and Staff Well-Being in the Curriculum’ and contributions are welcomed on this and any other learning and teaching initiatives in higher-education.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers
We will have five parallel sessions of short talks (15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions). Participants are encouraged to submit presentation proposals around the confernece theme, or on innovative projects in teaching and learning at their institutions that they've been invovled with recently.
- Show and Tell
These sessions take place in an open room venue, with tables around the outside. Presenters are encouraged to bring along examples of innovative new teaching enhancement learning materials they've developed to share with the audience over tea and coffee.
