CLIMA is a scientifique and technical event organised on behalf of REHVA, by one of its members. This international congress & exibition is the biggest event held in Europe on topics like HVAC, energy efficiency, smart buildings and cities, net Zero Energy and passive buildings, renewables technology etc.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

After receiving the acceptance e-mail for the abstracts, authors will prepare a full-paper (6-8 pages) following the template on the congress website (https://www.clima2019.org/general-information/#full-paper-template). It is a publication condition that all papers must be written in clear and grammatically correct English. Selected full-papers (for standard presentation or poster session) will be proposed for publishing in E3S Web of Conferences - Open Access publication series dedicated to archiving congress proceedings under several indexations: EBSCO, SCOPUS, ProQuest, Thomson Reuters, DOAJ and CAS. A selection of up to best 100 papers, in their extended version, will be proposed for publication in 4 notorious journals (Building and Environment, Journal of Building Performance Simulation-IBPSA, Science and Technology for the Built Environment-ASHRAE, Building Services Engineering Research and Technology-CIBSE)

After they received the acceptance e-mail for the "poster" full-paper (2-4 pages), authors will prepare a poster folowing the instructions and using the template they will find on CLIMA 2019 website.

Corresponding authors will log into their account to upload until February 1st, 2019 (12PM, Bucharest time) the final version of their full-paper (standard presentation or poster) without identification infos.

After the full-paper submission session is over, at least two reviewers will evaluate each submission in a blind-peer review until 15th of February 2019 (date subject to change). Authors will be informed by e-mail about the acceptance results. After the acceptance e-mail authors are kindly asked to resend their full-paper with all identification infos.

Corresponding authors will then need to register at the congress, as the paper will be published only if at least one of the authors is fully registered (all 3 days) for the congress. Please note that each additional paper exceeding a maximum of 2 papers which are included in the 3 days registration fee, will be extra charged (see section REGISTRATION & FEES on the CLIMA 2019 website).

Main Topics
Under the heading ”BUILT ENVIRONMENT FACING CLIMATE CHANGE”, the proposed main topics for the 13th CLIMA Congress will put into discussion the capacity of the new or existing refurbished buildings together with their technical systems, especially HVAC&S&R, to counteract in an energy efficient manner the climate changes in order to keep inside an optimum comfort, simultaneously with the security of occupants:
